Our Aims

Our key aims are…
* provide the pupils with a range of stimulus (visits, visitors, adult expertise) - Our Launch event is a very good example 'Wind in the Willows' which led to a range of writing opportunities.
* to provide the pupils with a real purpose and a wider audience for writing and communicating. For example joint displays, e-mailing for colloborative writing and evaluation.
* staff provided with training opportunities to share good practise and engage in professional discussion regarding teaching writing and its use across the curriculum
* parents, families, the community will be thoroughly informed of the purpose of the network and opportunities will be provided for parents to develop their knowledge and understanding of how children learn to write and the support needed at home.
